1. Click on a dictionary name on the left. Each dictionary contains between 30 and 200 phrases, organized by the chapters in the book "Basic Functional Japanese".

2. When a dictionary was loaded successfully, the first English term will show in the 'English' box. Study. Find the the answer. Click 'Translate/Next' to show the Japanese translation.

3. Continue with the next phrase by clicking 'Translate/Next'. Phrases are shown in random order. Enjoy!

The translation files are based on a class we took at Soko Gakuen in San Francisco, which uses the book "Basic Functional Japanese". Many thanks go to my wife Angelika who volunteered to take over the painstaking task of typing them all in!
